Who are we?Members of this community include many young families, singles, children, teenagers and students who have stayed in Coventry since graduating. Current post graduates and students are also part of this church family. We are a mix of people from all walks of life. If you are thinking of coming along for the first time, it would be great to see you.More than just a Sunday meetingThe idea of community has always been important to us. Connecting to a church community involves far more than coming along to Sunday morning meetings. It is a way of life, involving strong relationships through which we share and discover life in Christ together.Much of community life takes place informally, but we have also designed times together as a community in order to facilitate the development of community life. In the past we have had annual weekends away together, student training days, picnics, kids' activity days, business groups, gap year programmes, youth events and much more. Each of these community initiatives has a common aim – to help the people in this community learn how to share their lives with each other, to value each other and to learn to understand what it means to be “our brother’s keeper”. |
